A great idea that you can see realized in these Soho streets: Archer Street, Rupert Street, Berwick Street, Brewer Street, Old Compton Street, Dean Street, Wardour Street and Frith Street. This year’s Christmas lights in Soho have a strong community-centric theme: 21 luminescent installations were designed by the children of the Soho Parish School with the help of Antonio Capelao, architect and ambassador of RIBA.

Lighting the streets of Soho from 8th November, the designs were all designed by a selection of the school’s current pupils under the supervision of architect Capelao and made by Blachere Illumination UK.

Festive designs range from snowmen, balls and reindeers to once again bring the magic of Christmas back. The lights are a moving installation and are a representation of what it is like to experience Christmas through the eyes of a child.

Visitors can download a walking tour of the lights from November 8 here.

Each light panel will feature a QR code that links the information about the project and how to donate to the school.
