Blenheim palace is a beautiful and majestic country house in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. It is the home of the Dukes of Marlborough, the only non-royal, non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. The palace was built between 1705 and 1722, It is unique in its combined use as a family home, mausoleum and national monument. Following the palace’s completion, it became the home of the Churchill (later Spencer-Churchill) family for the next 300 years, and was the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.
For the last few years the palace has held a spectacular Illuminated Light Trail and this year new installations including Blue Neuron and Heart of Stars have meant that tickets for this event have sold out very quickly however as a result of Tier 4 guests not being able to visit, there will be tickets available on nights previously sold out and you will find this on.
