The plot of Come From Away is about the events in the week following 9/11 attacks on World Trade Centre, USA when 38 planes were instructed to land in a small town Gander in Canada. The true story of 7,000 stranded passengers is incredibly sentimental and mind-blowing. Come From Away is the story of inexplicable tension, compassion, thrill and friendship, it is the story of human emotions and relationships. The musical Come From Away is the winner of four Olivier Awards in which Best New Musical is also included. The show is directed by Tony Award Winner Christopher Ashley, who has the credit of giving shows like The Rocky Horror Show, Memphis and Xanadu. Come From Away is the result of many brilliant artists’ sincere efforts, its sound design is by Gareth Owen, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, set design by Beowulf Boritt, lighting design by Howell Binkley, orchestrations by August Eriksomen, musical staging by Kelly Devine and dialect coaching by Joel Goldes.
