Place: The Swedish Church in London
Address: 6 Harcourt Street London W1H 4AG
Underground Station: Edgware Road or Baker Street
When: 20th And 21st November from 10am to 6pm

In addition to all the German markets, it has become a tradition to have Scandinavian markets in London every year before Christmas. Last year there weren’t for reasons we all know, but this year they are bakc

They are always held towards the end of November also to please the Swedes in London who have to buy gifts and food for Lucia which is held on 13 December.

The Swedish one started and in recent years we have had one for every Nordic country up to pandemic (we know that technically Finland is not part of Scandinavia and that some Finns might take offence when called Scandinavians, but for logistical reasons, the Finnish market is usually also included and we apologize if we have Finnish readers).

Where can I find the Scandinavian Christmas markets in London?

The largest of these markets which is the only one so far confirmed for the 2021 and this year it will only be for a weekend. the market will be opened by the Swedish ambassador to the UK and entry costs £ 3. It is located just outside the Swedish Church in London which is located at 6 Harcourt Street. They have one part inside and one outside.

There will also be gingerbread, delicatessen, glasses, homemade glögg, textiles, food, sweets, candles and Christmas cards and much more.

You have to buy a ticket online to be able to enter the inside, while if you want to stay outside you can get the tickets at the moment, but only if there are seats . As it only lasts a weekend, you should book online so as not to be disappointed.
